Some people are born to be doctors, others maybe born to light up the world with their voice or the written word. I was born to travel. The act itself not only consumes my everyday life, but the thought takes up my brain every single minute.
I’ve ticked many places off my bucket list over the years, but I’m yet to journey to them all. What’s brilliant about the world is, just when you think you’ve seen it all, it has the power to surprise you. You can travel to every country on the planet and you still won’t have seen it all. You won’t have tried every dish, spoke to every person or seen every sight.
Out in the world, millions of potential best friends and partners are there, and it’s up to me to find them. It’s my mission in life, really. I mean, why would I stay in one place when there is so much of the world to be seen? Why would I spend my life in a job I hate, love or am indifferent towards, when I could just grab my life and be happy travelling the world?
Like most travellers, I felt I needed a place to store all this information, my stories and the things I’ve learnt along the way. So I started this blog, in the hope that someone, anyone, would read it and be interested in what I have to say.
I don’t promise you perfect grammar. My words might not change your life, but I’ll try. I just hope you can, at the very least, be entertained, be informed or simply find a love of travelling.
Feel free to contact me with a question, guest post pitch or just to say hello. I love to hear from my readers, so your messages will always be welcome. You never know, I might just see you on my travels – and be sure to say hello. I’m very friendly.
