Asia

For culture unlike any other, visit Asia and soon. From the buzz of Japan to the colours and fragrances from India, no other continent on our planet offers such amazing aromas, tastes, sights and sounds.

The continent is home to the world’s oldest cultures, and offers a wonderful blend of mesmerising architecture, delicious cuisines, friendly locals and breath-taking landscapes. If you want to experience a completely new culture, you should visit any one of the great nations that make up Asia, such as China, South Korea, Thailand or Vietnam.

Each country offers its own fascinating history that you should explore once you visit. Flavour will also burst right onto your tongue when you try one of the many Asian dishes. However, for a true taste of Asia, we recommend stepping outside of the restaurant and speaking to new locals, who are often more than happy to invite you into their home to try a delicious dish that’s been lovingly prepared. For example, you can step inside a traditional inn run by a Japanese family at Ryokan, enjoying a variety of Japanese dishes that are unlike anything else you’ve ever tasted.

Don’t forget your camera, either, because there are so many wonderful landscapes that can create the perfect picture – with sights that will stay with you for a lifetime. We here at Frog in Well recommend a cruise tour of the Yangtze River, which offers an enchanting landscape along China’s longest river.
